"It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop."
—Confucius
This week KNN is proud to announce yet another expansion to the newspaper! After careful consideration, we have decided to add a drama section to the paper. This section will be written by none other than Charlotte. Each week she will write a column about the drama happening at none other than Middle School! And once every three weeks, she will answer questions submitted by our audience. If you have a question you would like to submit, please email it to keirasnewsnetwork@gmail.com. Don’t forget to read Charlotte’s debut column below!

How to Deal with a Dramatic Friend Group
Friends are the family we choose, at least, that's how the saying goes. Without going completely off topic, adopted children are the family you choose, friends are like the cousins you get along with at an above-average rate. Going back on track, friends create more drama than enemies, for the sole purpose of, how many of you actually have enemies? Is there enough for even the most generic of love triangles of enemies-to-lovers fanfiction? If not, friends create more drama in your life than not. Be that ex-friends or should be ex-friends, drama sprouts from all angles of friendly interactions. But how to deal with them? Simple. Have no friends. No friends means no drama. Now this might be a radical solution to some of you “have-friends-ers” but drama statistically comes from friend groups, and cutting that source of potential toxicity would do you better in the long run. Learn to live alone, and you will be truly happy, learn to live in a group of 5+ people, and you will be forgotten in the crowd.
Theater and Why It's so Dramatic
Drama, Drama, Drama. Lights, Camera, Action. The world of theatre is consumed by the love of drama. The origin of Theatre stems from ancient Greece, as well as the word drama, but this isn't a history article. Instead of wondering why drama is so dramatic, wonder why you are so boring. Theater kids are living their best lives, being their best selves, and you? Hiding your true nature behind a mask of lies? That's what they do every day and yet they express themselves ten times more than you do. Take a moment dear readers, and open your mind, open your heart, and recite Macbeth from memory. If you failed at one of those things, then try again, and again, and again, and become a theater kid yourself. Drama excites our lives, be that fake or real. Be honest with yourself, to become the drama. Become the menace you are inside, and you will stop judging others for being themselves, and also other people. Forget the societal norms keeping you chained, and sing Hamilton to your heart's content.

Charlotte's Introduction to the KNN
Good morning, evening, or night, whenever you have the free time to read this wonderful article. And hello! I’m Charlotte, and I just so happen to be the new KNN columnist (fun right, haha), and I’m going to bring in a new area to KNN- Middle School Drama. That’s right! I’m currently in the worst area of school, the three agonizing middle school years. Yet that also means I get some of the best drama that can also be the most ridiculous crap you’ve ever heard. There will always be at least something from Middle School, some weeks it’ll be just simple updates on how the middle school is doing teacher wise, others, it will be some pretty dramatic stories of the middle school I’m guessing at least some of you went to and suffered in. There will also be occasional questions I will answer. Where once every three KNN posts, this small middle schooler will be giving answers on whatever you want to submit (if there is anything hehe). You can do this by submitting the question to Keirasnewsnetwork@gmail.com, and when this special form of my section of KNN comes out, your answer will be there!
Stuff about me.
My name’s Charlotte (yes, that short bean of Keira’s sister). I’m an 8th grader at Middle School (which does mean I get to head to school and suffer each hour in those insufferable halls). I take all honors classes and the electives of- Art, Skills for Living, Orchestra, and Principles of Art. I’m looking into becoming an Author/Writer as a final career in the future (hopefully I gain enough skills to achieve that). Still, besides my massive writing hobby, I also like doing art (mostly just pencil drawings/sketches) and reading. I like sage green as my favorite color and one of my favorite foods is a Polish dumpling called a Pierogi (don’t even try the pronunciation if you don’t know lol). More things about me- I have a friend group of only around 4, but you know- quality over quantity~ (or whatever you old people say these days). We’re all pretty big introverts, and the one who isn’t will probably be the one where a lot of the friend group drama comes from. I hope I can give you all good information about how is doing for this year (before I move on to High School (which will be an entirely different experience)) and enjoy!
