Ahh Christmas. Christmas used to be one of my favorite holidays before I realized just how stressful it is. I’m honestly so scared over gifting all the things I’ve made and bought. Not to mention it HAS to be one of the most expensive holidays out there. 

My family has little traditions that we do every Christmas. And they’ve changed over the years as my family has. One of my favorites is Pierogi making. Pierogi is a Polish dumpling. The recipe comes straight from my great-grandmother, who is from Poland.  My grandmother likes to add various fillings to hers, but my family has always kept it simple; potato and cheese filling. Sometimes we will add ham and spinach to them, but simplicity is bliss when it comes to these guys. Anyway, every year we get together in the kitchen and spend all of Christmas Eve making them. We usually end up with enough for dinner that night and freeze the rest.
